CYO draws youth to responsible fellowship, participation, and leadership in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic Church. An organization for all High School youth of the parish, CYO sponsors social functions, prayer and service activities, and low competition co-ed athletics. Activities at both the parish and diocesan level are part of the program. All youth, ninth grade through twelfth grade, are welcome and encouraged to participate.

March Events and Meetings
BIG TIME CHANGE TO THE CALENDAR DURING LENT: Blessed Sacrament is adding a 5:15 pm Sunday Mass during Lent, and they have asked us to make it a Youth Mass. To promote this as the youth mass, we are going to move the CYO meeting times to 6:15-7:45 during Lent. If possible, we are encouraging our high school youth and their families to attend this Mass. We will provide dinner for the high school students at ALL of these meetings during Lent. If this mass is received well, they will look at continuing this after Lent.
We will actually be doing the Parish Book Study (Prayer for Beginners) during all Lent Meetings. This should be very fruitful and I encourage you to encourage your child to attend! They can get a book from the Parish office if they didn't get one at Christmas time.
We are also encouraging all high schoolers to attend the Stations of the Cross on Fridays during Lent at 6:30 pm. Families are welcome and we will be eating meatless dinner downstairs together afterwards (organized by Altar Society) CYO will be providing and serving the dinner for April 7th.
