4th Quarter News

This year has gone so fast. It is hard to believe that we are in the last quarter of the year. The fifth grades have just finished reading the novels of Caddie Woodlawn and Where the Red Fern Grows. We have enjoyed the stories and we even learned a little about the early pioneer days.

In social studies we have been studying the thirteen colonies and all the events that lead up to the Revolutionary War.

We have completed the study of the parts of the Mass and all the responses so now your children can follow along when at Mass.

In addition to all the above we have been, or are taking the state  Reading, Writing, and Math assessments tests.

I would like to remind everyone that 50 Read Up points are due soon, so lets get reading.

We are going to do our best to continue learning all we can before the end of the year.

Thanks

Thank you to the SAC for all the new equipment that has been arriving throught the school. I know that the intermediate teachers now have a full size refrigerator  to store our lunches everyday. Also in my classroom I now have a new printer, what a joy! Thank you all so much. These things are really appreciated.

The children are making totem poles now that we have been studying about the Indians and they are really going to look great out in the hall.
