We have had a busy Christmas season and month of January. The children have learned all their long vowel spellings and are now on their second soft backed reader. Reading is moving at a very fast pace so be sure to have your child practice the word ring as much as possible.
In math we have learned the adding zero, adding on one, adding on two, and the doubles plus one. These need to be memorized to ensure future success in math for your child.
Mrs. Smith has been teaching the kids about Martin Luther King and Kansas history.
In art we have made snowmen, snow children, and penguins.
In religion we are studying the miracles of Jesus and the four pillars of Stewardship.
