Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is rooted in the Bible and the Liturgy of the Church, as well as, the educational principles of Maria Montessori. In a specially prepared environment, called the atrium, catechists provide hands-on materials that assist the child to grow in love of the Good Shepherd, who loves them unconditionally.
Currently, it is available in PSR for grades K-1 and in the school for prek-1st grade. Hopefully, it can expand through 6th grade, when we have enough parishioners receive the training. Stewards are needed for construction materials, presenting lessons (after training), and helping in the atrium.
