Amanda Carillo brings us "Stories of Grace", with her first interview with JoAnn Robertson.

There are countless stories within our parish family. Stories of struggles and successes. Worries and joys.  Blessings and blights. It is Amanda’s hope that through each interview, we will be strengthened as a parish family by getting to know each other better. With age comes wisdom, so she is beginning this project by interviewing the wisest of our parish, the Encore group.  “My hope is that we will recognize ourselves in one another’s stories and find some inspiration.  We all have a God-given need to be known, a need for connection. Story-telling is a powerful tool and hearing about other people’s lives can affect the way we see the world and spur us to action in maybe changing something about ourselves or even the way we think about ourselves. It’s a domino affect. When we feel encouraged we are then able to encourage others.”
