The Oktoberfest Run for the Poor is a 5k run and a 1-mile fun run. It is a community event that runs through the College Hill neighborhood and starts and ends at Blessed Sacrament. Members of Blessed Sacrament assist along the race route to direct and keep the runners safe, work at water stops, help sign up runners, and set up snacks and drinks before the race. All of the proceeds are donated to charities that help the less fortunate.
