Junior High Lectio Divina ministry is for all 7th & 8th graders - Blessed Sacrament Catholic school students, homeschooled students, and public-school students. We operate during the school year on Thursday mornings, at 7:00am in Bishops Hall. Lectio Divina is an ancient, holy, group-focused approach to reading and growing in the Word of God that is guided by the Holy Spirit. The reading covered each week is the upcoming Sunday’s Gospel. We split into small groups of boys and girls for the sessions. Parents and young adults act as group leaders. Lectio Divina allows the students to prepare for Sunday Mass mid-week. This format cultivates deep yet simple conversations among the students that wouldn’t happen anywhere else in their peer groups. But most of all, it allows the Holy Spirit to work more personally in our lives. Please come and join us! AND…we might have donuts.
