The Blessed Sacrament Music Ministry works to provide music for the liturgy that is both spiritually edifying and traditionally appropriate. We accomplish this through the use of sacred hymns, English propers of the Mass, and polyphony. We work hard to incorporate music from the rich history of our Catholic faith in ways that are both beautiful and relevant to our worship today. There are many avenues available for stewards to participate in this ministry and help us maintain our goals for worship: large choral ensembles, scholas, polyphonic choirs, children’s chorus, free organ lessons, solo instrumentalists, instrumental quartets/quintets and vocal training for cantors. Our schedules change seasonally and are based on current participation numbers, so please get in touch with our music director for more information and to sign up.

Adult Choir

 Adult Choir: The adult choir is open to anyone high school age or older, regardless of musical ability. The adult choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 8:00 pm in the church choir loft and sings for the 9:00 am Mass on Sundays and special feast days. The adults specialize in the polyphony and chant of our Catholic tradition. 

Youth Choir

Youth Choir: The youth choir is open to all students in grades 3-8. We sing on the second Sunday of the month during the school year at the 11:00 am Mass. Rehearsal times vary. The goal of our youth ensemble is to instruct our young people in the music of the Catholic liturgy and its 2,000 year tradition. We also grow confidence and build unity and blend, helping students to sing as cantors and in our adult choir as young adults.
